Over the years, Missouri State University has received enormous support, encouragement and advice from donors like you who believe in the mission of the University. We want, first of all, to say “thank you” for the contributions you have made in the past, but we also want to take this opportunity to say how much we appreciate your consideration of supporting our current effort to raise $125 million. If you look past the dollar sign and the zeroes, Our Promise is ultimately about people – the men and women who will acquire knowledge and fulfill their educational dreams at Missouri State University. It is as simple and yet as complex as that.
Your support of, and commitment to, Our Promise: The Campaign for Missouri State University affects students who are excelling in the classroom and achieving their dreams of an education, and affects the faculty who teach them. These students can think critically and creatively, work in teams, adapt to change and communicate effectively. Students graduate from Missouri State as educated persons with a portfolio of skills and values necessary for success in the workplace and society.
In many ways, we have all benefited from our association with Missouri State University. By supporting the campaign, we have the opportunity to give something back. Together through our belief in the mission of Missouri State University, we will continue to ensure that this is a University of distinction – dedicated to excellence in education and to meeting the needs of society today and into the future.
